There’s You,  is a spoken word piece in which the artist performs a monologue based on her mother’s memories of family holidays on Achill Island on the west coast of Ireland in the 1970s and 1980s. The family stayed at the same boarding house for the same two weeks in July for twenty years. Many other families did the same. The volatile Atlantic coastline is altered by winter storms, the people age, and memories are blurred by time. Listeners are immersed in an atmospheric soundtrack of an overlapping, circular narrative which is both melancholic and humorous.
